Our story
What brings joy to your day? For me, it’s always been flowers. Planting, growing, smelling, picking, arranging – flowers are my happy place.
I started out using flowers from my own garden – and occasionally flowers from my grandmother’s enormous and wild backyard – to make simple arrangements for myself. Friends and family took notice of the arrangements around my home and were shocked to hear I had designed them myself. Shortly after, and with lots of support (and nagging) from my loved ones, Shenandoah Flowers & Fauna was born. With this more-than-a-hobby-turned-business, it is hope to share the joy of flowers with others.

With the goal of spreading joy in mind, we select every flower, filler, and flora that goes into our arrangements carefully. Tailored specifically to each client’s vision (and budget!), we ensure that every arrangement is as unique as the intended recipient or occasion.
We try our very best to source local, seasonal flowers to not only add a little variety but also to keep our business as sustainable as possible.
